Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of GewapeSign, the electronic signature service run by Gewape Cloud Rwanda Limited (“Gewape”, “we”) from Kigali, Rwanda. If your organization has a signed agreement with Gewape, that agreement takes precedence where the two differ. GewapeSign is also covered by the Gewape Cloud terms, which apply to all our services.
Who can use GewapeSign
Accounts belong to an organization. The person who creates the organization’s account is its owner; the owner invites its users and decides their roles. People asked to sign a document do not need an account. You must give accurate details and keep your login to yourself.
Your documents
You keep all rights in the documents you upload and the data in them. We process them only to provide the service: to show them to the people you choose, collect signatures, seal the completed document and keep the audit record. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising or use it to train AI models.
Electronic signatures
GewapeSign records who signed, when, from which network address and with which email or login, and seals each completed document so any later change can be detected. Whether an electronic signature is valid for a particular document depends on the law that applies to it. Some documents may need a qualified signature or a handwritten one; check before you rely on GewapeSign for them.
Acceptable use
Do not use GewapeSign to send unlawful, fraudulent or misleading documents, to send unsolicited bulk requests, or to attack or overload the service. We may suspend an account that does, and will tell the organization owner why.
Service and support
We aim to keep GewapeSign available at all times but do not promise uninterrupted service unless your agreement includes a service level. Planned maintenance is done outside business hours where possible. Support: support@gewapesign.com.
Fees
The first 5 documents of an organization are free. Paid plans are charged per user, in Rwandan francs, by card, mobile money or bank transfer, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until you cancel. Prices exclude VAT, which is added based on your location. Enterprise plans are billed as set out in your order or quote.
Ending the service
You can close your organization’s account at any time. Before closing, download the documents you need to keep: completed documents and their certificates remain valid outside GewapeSign.
Liability
Our liability is limited as set out in the Gewape Cloud terms or your signed agreement.
Changes
We will tell organization owners by email before any material change to these terms takes effect.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Rwanda.
